Outreach Missions

St. James Food Pantry

Our Food Pantry has been assisting families since 2014. We offer non-perishable food items as well as cleaning products and toiletries. The Pantry is open the 1st and 3rd Saturday's of each month from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Items are given out based on family size.

Our goal is to provide assistance to those in need during difficult times.

Proverbs 22:9
A generous person will be blessed, for he gives some of his food to the poor.

James 2:26
A body that doesn’t breathe is dead.
In the same way faith that does nothing is dead.

Crop Walk

CROP Hunger Walks are community-wide sponsored by Church World Service and organized by religious groups, businesses, schools and others to raise funds to end hunger in the U.S. and around the world.

St. James members have participated with other local churches in this wonderful event.

Mill Pond Manor

Several times a year, we have the pleasure of cooking and serving meals to our senior friends at Mill Pond Manor.

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is part of the Samaritan Purse. Shoe boxes are filled with school supplies, personal hygiene items and toys. They are mailed around the world and given to children in need. Many are in refugee camps and small villages. This program has delivered over 7 million boxes. St. James members fill and send out approximately 100-120 boxes every year.
